I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from McGill University and am a registered member of both the Alberta College of Social Workers and the British Columbia College of Social Workers.
Private Practice
For the past 20 years, I have been in private practice, where I focus on providing a safe, supportive space for clients to work through challenges, whether they involve personal growth, relationships, grief, or life transitions. My approach is centered on fostering a compassionate and non-judgmental environment, allowing clients to feel heard, understood, and empowered as they move forward in their journey.
I work with individuals and couples on a variety of issues, offering both short-term and long-term counselling tailored to each person’s unique needs. In my practice, I integrate evidence-based approaches with a warm, empathetic perspective to help clients gain clarity, find balance, and achieve their personal and relationship goals.
Clinical Experience
With over three decades of experience in clinical settings, I have had the privilege of working with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals in both Alberta and British Columbia, offering personalized support to individuals and couples. I have held a variety of roles in hospital settings, including Director of Patient and Family Counselling at the BC Cancer Centre, and Family Counsellor with Alberta Health Services, supporting both the Pregnancy and Infant Loss Program as well as the Department of Psychiatry.
My experience has given me a deep understanding of the importance of compassionate support, and I am committed to offering a safe, thoughtful space for you to explore your journey.
I was featured on CBC for the counselling work I do with The Pregnancy and Infant Loss Program at the Foothills hospital.
